A proposal for the use of a technology to motivate behavior change. An individual is responsible for the life of a plant in a computer controlled hydroponics chamber. Interaction with the plan is mediated by the behavior change technology. The light, water and nutrients the plant receives is determined by the ability of an individual to meet goals in a behavior change plan, i.e. a 12 step program. The hydroponics chambers are placed in a public space to create a community garden for the users.
